About Us

This website is run by the Wales Trekking and Riding Association, which is an established organisation dedicated to the riding industry in Wales, run by people who are passionate about riding and horses.

The association is the longest running independent organisation of its type and was the fist to develop an Operators Manual which has since been adopted by the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS). It aims to provide a safe and enjoyable riding experience for the novice and experienced alike, whilst also looking after the well being of the horses and ponies. All members are regularly inspected to ensure high standards are maintained, all must comply with very stringent regulations and criteria.

Our members offer the complte rane of riding experiences - from a led walk for a 4 year old to advanced tuition for an experienced rider. We believe that riding is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone and through all disciplines - want to drive a carriage, ride a racehorse or adopt a pony for the day - we'll find the ideal place for it to happen for you!
